Aussie Mountain-Doodles 35+ lbs

Born: April 6th, 2026

Graduation: Monday June 1st, 2026

Meet this litter: Wow, what an incredible litter! This is Roux and Cowboy's first litter together and we could not be more proud. Each puppy has a uniquely colorful coat that is silky soft to the touch. These puppies are about five weeks of age and just beginning to show personality. They are already so curious, eager to explore, and friendly. This litter is absolute perfection with both looks and personality so far. Roux is one of our top mothers as she is extra gentle with her puppies while being a wonderful leader and teacher. Roux is people oriented and was always easy to be around. Cowboy was extremely easy to train with a high drive to learn.

An Exceptional Companion for Active Families: our Aussie Mountain Doodles are thoughtfully bred for temperament, intelligence, structure, and companionship. This beautiful cross combines the loyalty and athleticism of the Australian Shepherd with the gentle, affectionate nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog, and the high intelligence and longevity of a poodle; resulting in an easy to train, loving, and versatile family companion.

Known for their striking coats, expressive eyes, and engaging personalities, Aussie Mountain Doodles quickly become deeply bonded with their families. They thrive on connection and are happiest when included in everyday life, whether that means outdoor adventures, relaxing evenings at home, or accompanying their families wherever they go.

These pupies are eager to please, adaptable, and exceptionally intuitive. Their intelligence makes them fast learners, while their affectionate nature allows them to excel as family companions, therapy dogs, emotional support animals, and service prospects.

With proper socialization, structure, and consistent training, Aussie Mountain Doodles develop into confident, well-rounded dogs that are both playful and capable of settling beautifully within the home. For families seeking a loyal, intelligent, and loving companion, the Aussie Mountain Doodle truly offers the best of both worlds.

Size & Structure

Our Aussie Mountain Doodles are expected to mature around:

  • 35+ pounds
  • 18–19 inches at the shoulder

They feature a balanced, athletic build with the signature “teddy bear” appearance families love, including:

  • A sturdy frame
  • Deep chest
  • Thick, plush coat
  • Square head structure
  • Soft, expressive features

These puppies are bred to be both beautiful and functional — athletic enough for adventure, yet compact enough for family living.

Health & Longevity

Health and temperament are priorities in our breeding program. Both Roux and Cowboy have completed comprehensive genetic health testing. We encourage families to visit our parent pages under the “About” section of our website to learn more about each parent. Our Aussie Mountain Doodles are expected to have a lifespan of approximately 12+ years with:

  • Proper nutrition
  • Routine veterinary care
  • Regular exercise
  • A healthy lifestyle

Due to the benefits of hybrid vigor, Aussie Mountain Doodles are generally considered a healthy and resilient crossbreed.

Temperament

Aussie Mountain Doodles are known for their:

  • Intelligent and eager-to-please personalities
  • Loyal and deeply affectionate nature
  • Social and family-oriented temperament
  • Athletic yet adaptable energy level
  • Strong intuition and emotional connection with people

This breed tends to be slightly higher energy than some doodle varieties, making them an excellent fit for active individuals and families who enjoy walks, outdoor activities, training, and engagement. At the same time, the Bernese Mountain Dog influence contributes a calm, loving, and steady temperament that helps balance their energy.

Coat Type & Grooming

Our Aussie Mountain Doodles are expected to have soft, silky coats ranging from straight to wavy in texture.

They are fully furnished, meaning they carry the classic doodle features families adore, including:

  • Fluffy facial furnishings
  • Soft mustache and beard
  • Plush, teddy bear appearance

Most puppies are considered low to non-shedding and may be a wonderful option for allergy-sensitive households.

To maintain a healthy coat, we recommend:

  • Weekly brushing
  • Professional grooming every 6–8 weeks
  • Routine coat maintenance and nail care

Proper grooming not only keeps the coat beautiful, but also supports long-term skin and coat health.
