Puppy Training

Kimberlee's Kennels is excited to announce we now offer puppy basic obedience training prior to your puppy pickup!

We understand that bringing a new puppy into your family can be very exciting and also overwhelming at times. Occasionally life events and travel prevent you from picking up your puppy right away. Because of this, we have received a high volume of requests for customers looking for basic obedience training prior to picking up their puppy. This extends the go home date and gives you and your puppy time to prepare for their new family! We have partnered with Miranda at Riverside Canine Training Academy to work on your puppies start to basic obedience training. Having a great start and foundation prior to your puppy arriving into your home allows a smoother transition into your home. Plus you receive lifetime trainer support! 

The program is 4 Weeks long, below is a few agenda items in which your puppy will be trained/introduced. Miranda will pick up your puppy once they are 8 weeks of age and then you will pick up your puppy once the program is completed here at our Kennel. She will do a live training session with you when you pick up and follow up with the Free Online Training Program. 

🐾Sit- dog is in upright position with tail/rear to the ground. 

🐾Here- dog goes to handler when called 

🐾Down- laying on the ground 

🐾Leave it- dogs leave object alone

🐾Kennel- dog enters their kennel 

🐾Climb- dog climbs onto a platform

🐾Inside- dog enters house 

🐾Outside- dog goes outside 

🐾Go potty- que to have dog relief themselves 

🐾Load up- dog loads into vehicle 

🐾Loose leash- loose leash walking in heel position 

🐾Socialization, grooming, outdoors, confidence building and more! 

The cost is $2,000. $1,000 would be payable to Kimberlee Kennels and $1,000 would be payable to Riverside Canine Training Academy. If you would like additional advanced training, you can speak to Miranda as well.

Alternatively, Riverside Training Academy does offer an online only version for $100. With code kimberleekennels23 you can save $10 off this program. Please use the link at the bottom of the page. The online version is included with the full physical training program as well.
